Fiat Chrysler posts 18.3% sales increase in Europe
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV sales in Europe continued to improve in November, with the automaker outperforming the industry for an 11th-consecutive month.
The Italian-American automaker posted sales of 68,500 vehicles, an 18.3 percent year-over-year increase. The industry average was a 13.7 percent increase.
Leading the way for the automaker in November were the Fiat and Jeep brands.
Fiat outperformed the industry for the third consecutive month, with November sales up 19.7 percent to more than 51,000 vehicles.
Jeep marked its 25th-consecutive month of sales growth in November, with unit sales up 50.2 percent to more than 7,500 vehicles.
Fiat Chrysler sales were up 13.4 percent to more than 807,000 vehicles through November. Its market share is up to 6.2 percent.
