The Ram 1500 Rebel will be Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV’s limited-edition Mopar vehicle for the 2016 model-year.

The Mopar ’16 Ram Rebel is the first pickup to be selected since the service, parts and customer-care brand started offering customized limited-edition cars in 2010.

The automaker expects to produce 500 of the vehicles. They are expected to begin arriving in select U.S. dealerships this summer starting at $52,460 – about $7,200 more than the Ram 1500 4x4 Rebel Crew Cab that the pickup is based on.

“The already formidable Ram 1500 Rebel is a perfect canvas for unique Mopar accessories and performance parts developed to reinforce the rugged personality of the Rebel,” said Pietro Gorlier, Fiat Chrysler global head of parts and service, in a statement.

The Mopar ’16 Ram Rebel features custom Mopar badging and graphics as well as additional performance parts. Most, if not all, of the changes are available for individual ordering through Mopar.

Exterior changes include an aluminum, dual bezel sport performance hood embellished with a matte-black hood graphic, off-road wheel flares bulge and a special Mopar blue-and-black graphic stripe on both sides, as well as the tailgate.

The pickup will be powered by a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. It also features a skid plate to guard the power steering box and substitutes a black front bumper skid plate for the standard billet silver color.

“The Mopar ‘16 content illustrates how customers can easily personalize a Ram truck with factory backed accessories,” said Mike Manley, global head of Ram, in a release.

The Mopar exterior graphics are less obvious than on previous selected cars that have featured prominent badging and exterior graphics. Previous Mopar cars included: 2010 Dodge Challenger; 2011 Charger; 2012 Chrysler 300; 2013 Dart; 2014 Challenger; and 2015 Charger R/T.
