New cars and trucks from all of the automakers are being unloaded at Cobo Center in preparation for the 2015 North American International Auto Show. Showgoers can expect to see at least 40 introductions in Detroit, as well as the first U.S. glimpse of several models that made their debut in Europe last year.

Events kick off this Saturday, Jan. 10, with a luxury car showcase. The show opens to the public a week later, on Saturday, Jan. 17. The full schedule follows.

Jan. 10: The Gallery, a dinner and luxury car preview at the MGM Grand Detroit. Dinner at 7 p.m., gallery opens at 8:30. Tickets are $1,000 per person, $900 of which is tax deductible. Purchase online.

Jan. 11: 19th annual Urban Wheel Awards at Detroit`s Garden Theater, 3929 Woodward Ave. 7 p.m. Tickets $175-250. More information here.

Jan. 12-13: Media preview

Jan. 14-15: Industry preview

Jan. 16: Charity Preview gala, 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $400, $390 of which is tax deductible. Call (888) 838-7500.

Jan. 17-24: Public days. Tickets are $13 for adults, $7 for seniors, $7 for children 7-12, with younger children admitted free.
