General Motors Co. on Monday announced pricing for the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, the most powerful production Camaro it has ever built.

The Detroit automaker said the ZL1 will start at $62,135 for coupes and $69,135 for convertibles, including destination charges. A 1LE performance package is available as a $4,500 option on the Camaro V-6 LT coupe and $6,500 on the V-8 1SS coupe.

“The Camaro ZL1 offers supercar performance with daily-driver refinement, a combination that stacks up against any other sports coupe – at any price – around the world,” Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet marketing, said in a statement.

The muscle car can go 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and gets up to 650 horsepower out of the supercharged LT4 6.2-liter V-8.

The ZL1 will go on sale this fall.
