Cadillac is previewing its new XT4 SUV in three commercials to air Sunday during the Oscars.

Cadillac’s final 30-second spot offers viewers a peek at the XT4.

The glimpses of the XT4 in the Oscar commercials come ahead of the vehicle’s reveal at the New York auto show later this month. The reveal of Cadillac’s newest SUV will spark a flurry of new vehicles for General Motors Co.’s luxury brand, with a new product planned every six months through the end of 2020.

The first ad to air during the awards show is a 60-second spot called “Future is Here,” with cuts to New York City, racetracks and Cadillac’s futuristic digital dashboards. It’s designed to showcase Cadillac’s “endless pursuit of innovation and its ever-growing portfolio,” the luxury brand said in a statement.

That’s followed up by a 30-second spot for Super Cruise called “Future Cars.” Before cutting to footage of a CT6 driving with Super Cruise, the ad includes cameos from “The Jetsons” and “Knight Rider.” The ad says: “We’ve been dreaming of the future for a long time. ... Guess what? ... It’s here.”

The final 30-second spot offers viewers a peek at the XT4. Set to Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk,” the ad shows swooping glimpses of the newest Cadillac’s finer details before pulling back to display the compact SUV’s full silhouette. The XT4, Cadillac’s first compact SUV, will be revealed at Cadillac headquarters in Manhattan on March 27 ahead of the New York International Auto Show in New York City.

Cadillac is the official automotive partner and vehicle provider for the 90th Academy Awards for the fifth year in a row.

“Cadillac is proud to be a part of the Academy Awards, one of the most iconic platforms that reaches audiences across the globe,” Cadillac’s director of marketing Renée Rauchut said in the statement.

“The Oscars is a natural fit for the brand and the perfect stage to reveal our exhilarating new creative, including a preview of the first-ever Cadillac XT4 and a look at our industry-leading Super Cruise technology. We’re excited to show the world what the future holds for Cadillac.”
