Northville — Schostak Brothers & Company will use the grand opening of its latest development in Northville as an opportunity to provide school supplies for students in need.

The Livonia-based developer will open the 65,000-square-foot Northville Park Place at Seven Mile and Haggerty roads on Aug. 29. The event will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. followed by family-friendly activities and a Stuff-a-Bus fundraiser for Vista Maria from 2-5 p.m.

Individuals who donate at least five school supply items or $20 to the fundraiser will be entered to win a free Disney cruise for four.

The plaza will feature a variety of tenants including MOD Pizza, Orangetheory Fitness, AT&T, SVS Vision, Granite City Food & Brewery, Rusty Bucket, Sherwin Williams, BurgerFi, Chipotle, Jimmy John’s, Tom & Chee, Red Olive, Sports Clips and Gazelle Sports.

“We are very excited to invite the community out to celebrate our grand opening of Northville Park Place and introduce our diverse mix of tenants that will be sure to give local residents an innovative dining and retail experience,” Warren Strietzel, executive vice president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. “This event is the perfect opportunity to highlight this great community resource, while also supporting Vista Maria in their mission of providing local students with the necessary supplies to succeed in school.”
