At the start of the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament, Little Caesars tweeted what seemed to be a sure bet: "If a #16 BEATS a #1 in men's basketball TONIGHT, you could score a @LittleCaesars Lunch Combo!"

The payoff: free Hot-N-Ready combo at Little Caesars on Monday from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. while supplies last at participating stores. Detroit-based Little Caesars is the largest carry-out pizza chain in the nation.

No. 16 seeds had lost their previous 135 games to No. 1’s since the men’s tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985. But this year, No. 16 seed University of Maryland Baltimore County topped No. 1 seed University of Virginia, 74-54.

Free pizza!

More specifically, it’s a free four-slice DEEP DEEP Dish pepperoni pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product. The offer is limited to one per family and while supplies last, according to Little Caesars. No ordering online or over the telephone. Orders must be in by 1 p.m.
