at Campus Martius

The Drop is a free New Year’s Eve party at Campus Martius with a Detroit-themed ball drop, plus live music, carriage rides, bars and more. There’s also a ticketed party inside an 11,000-square-foot heated and carpeted tent (free until 7 p.m., after that it’s a ticketed event). An early party for kids runs 4-7 p.m. with the Detroit Youth Choir, a magician, face painting and the like.
