Metro Detroit dining buffs are eagerly anticipating the opening of chef Kate Williams’ Lady of the House restaurant in north Corktown. To keep the buzz going, Williams is hosting “Lady of the Market,” monthly pop-up dinners in Eastern Market.

The first one is 6-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 20. An $80 ticket includes a five course meal featuring rabbit, stewed tarbais beans, potato beignet and more. A vegetarian meal is available, too.

The Lady of the Market pop-ups will continue the third weekend of each month at the Brooklyn Outdoor Loft, 2501 Russell, Suite 400, in Detroit. Diners with tickets are asked to arrive on Winder St. under the Jabs Gym sign for entry.

Williams is known for her nose-to-tail cooking style, which uses the entire animal and focuses on minimizing food waste. She’s been hosting similar pop-up dinners in New York City.

Tickets for the February Lady of the Market event can be purchased here.
