Drake will be sharing his “Views” in Detroit this summer.

The Toronto rapper will perform Aug. 16 at Joe Louis Arena, promoters announced Monday.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, the same day Drake’s latest album, “Views from the 6,” is released. An American Express presale begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The Joe Louis show is part of Drake’s 32-date Summer Sixteen tour, which kicks off July 20 in Austin, Texas, and wraps Sept. 17 in Vancouver. Drake’s “What a Time to Be Alive” co-conspirator, Future, will join him on all dates, and other special guests will be announced at a later date.

Drake’s last performance in the area was a May 2015 show at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
