1. ‘Silent Night’ at Detroit Opera House

2. Wayne County Lightfest on Merriman Road
This annual light show features 47 holiday-themed displays that use LED lights. Santa Claus will be at the end of the trail through Dec. 23. Attraction is open 7-10 p.m. through Dec. 31. $5 per vehicle. Toy Nights — when guests can bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate instead of the admission fee — will be held Dec. 6, 13 and 20.
