Big 3: Things to do Saturday and Sunday
1. Charivari Detroit at West Riverfront Park: Dozens of electronic music acts are scheduled to keep the party going during this three day event that also includes yoga, art and food. 2. National Mead Day: Cidery, meadery and brewery Cellarmen’s (23410 John R in Hazel Park) will celebrate with new releases on tap and the bottling of their Beet Your Meade, made with Detroit-grown beets. TruckShucka food truck will be nearby serving Israeli street food. Party starts at 1 p.m. In Ferndale, B. Nektar Meadery is also celebrating its ninth anniversary with live bands, limited releases of mead, cider and beer and Ruckus Taco Co., Treat Dreams, CC Creperie and LazyBones Smokehouse food trucks. 3. I Love the ’90s Tour at DTE Energy Music Theatre: Sweat ’til ya bleed at this national nostalgia tour featuring pop, hip-hop and R&B hit makers of the 1990s.
