Big 3: Top things to do this Saturday and Sunday

1. Meridan Winter Blast at Campus Martius

A wonderland of winter activities, this annual outdoor/indoor bash arrives just in time to coincide with the final few days of the North American International Auto Show. Experience an ice garden, marshmallow roasting, a zip line and the polar plunge. There are also dozens of local musicians and a food truck rally. 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday. $3 for ages 3 and up. 2. Sheila E. at Andiamo Celebrity Showroom

An accomplished percussionist, Sheila E. broke through with her successful solo career in the early 1980s with the song “Glamorous Life.” She’s also had many notable collaborations with musicians like Prince. 3. Ann Arbor Folk Festival at Hill Auditorium

An annual fundraiser for the Ann Arbor venue the Ark, this year’s folk festival is headlined by John Prine and Aimee Mann, with Joe Pug as emcee. 6:30 p.m. Saturday. $42.50-$60, $75-$110 for both nights. 825 N. University, Ann Arbor. (734) 761-1451.
