Andrew Lincoln is leaving 'Walking Dead'; Reedus gets new deal

Reports were rampant Tuesday night that "The Walking Dead" star Andrew Lincoln would be leaving the show during its upcoming ninth season. According to the Hollywood Reporter, co-star Norman Reedus, meanwhile, is in the middle of negotiating a new deal that will earn him more than $20 million now that he's the top actor on the show. In other Norman Reedus news, he and his girlfriend, German actress Diane Kruger, are expecting their first child together. Reedus also has a teenage son by ex-girlfriend Helena Christensen

Singer SZA may have permanent vocal damage

Pop and R&B singer/songwriter SZA may have permanent damage to her vocal chords. After she missed some concerts to rest her voice, SZA tweeted, then deleted, a tweet saying her voice was "permanently injured." "I just want to be left alone," she reportedly posted, adding that her priorities were messed up. "I need space goodbye." 

Blake Painter, ‘Deadliest Catch’ skipper, found dead

Blake Painter, an Oregon fisherman featured on the television series “The Deadliest Catch,” has died. Painter, 38, had been found in his Astoria home last week by a friend who visited after being unable to reach him, Clatsop County Sheriff Tom Bergin said Tuesday. Bergin said a cause of death would not be released until a toxicology report had been completed, but there was no apparent evidence of foul play.

Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monáe, Migos and more set to perform at BET Awards

Next month’s BET Awards on June 24 will be star-studded with planned performances by Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monáe, Migos, H.E.R., and Ella Mai. More performers will be announced at a later date. Jamie Foxx is set to host the 18th annual show, which airs live at 8 p.m. on BET from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. DJ Khaled leads the awards this year with six nominations.
