1. Royal Oak Ribfest in Downtown Royal Oak: Besides ribs and other barbecued treats from local chefs and restaurants, Ribfest has beer, cocktails, local bands, monster truck rides and activities for kids. Arcade Fire with Hamilton Leithauser at DTE Energy Music Theatre: This Canadian indie rock band brings their "Everything Now Continued" tour to town in support of their 2017 studio release "Everything Now," which hit No. 1 in the United States and several other countries. 3. David Blaine Live at Fox Theatre: A master at his own brand of magic and stunt work, Blaine brings his live show on the road this summer, including a stop at the Fox Theatre.
