Rosanne is filming new content for YouTube

Disgraced comedian Rosanne Barr is working on her own content, TMZ reports, after she was fired from ABC and removed from the reboot of “Roseanne” following a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett. She’s been filming YouTube videos with her son Jake Pentland. In a video released this week, Rosanne, smoking a cigarette, explains her Jarrett comments. “I’m trying to talk about Iran, that’s what my tweet was about” she yelled. “I thought the b---- was white!”

Hamtramck Firefighters can eat way more pierogi than the Sterling Heights squad

In a carb-loaded competition at the American-Polish festival in Sterling Heights last weekend, the Hamtramck and Sterling Heights firehouses went head-to-head to see who could eat more pierogi. In the end, Hamtramck delivered, eating 99 Polish dumplings to Sterling Heights’ 58. Special credit goes to HPD’s Bill Diamond, who ate 42 pierogi on his own. It was all in the name of charity. HFD gets $500 for their favorite children’s charity and Sterling Heights gets $300 for theirs. Srodek’s market, which has locations in both cities, sponsored the sixth annual eating event. The festival itself has been going for more than 30 years.
