Lobster roll week was a success: The staff at Mudgie’s Deli & Wine Shop in Corktown survived their popular lobster roll week last week. Owner Greg Mudge thanked staff and customers on social media, announcing that they served more than 7,000 sandwiches.

Jim Brady’s launches brunch service: Jim Brady’s, 1214 S. Main in Royal Oak will serve brunch 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sat.-Sun. starting Aug. 11. Look for tater tot hash, candied bacon, salads, breakfast burrito, Frosted Flake-crusted French toast, waffles, frittatas and other egg dishes.

McDonalds releases MacCoins: To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Big Mac, McDonald’s is launching the MacCoin Thursday. Customers who purchase a Big Mac at participating locations will receive a MacCoin. There are five different designs on the coins, representing each decade the Big Mac has lasted through.
