Johnny Depp’s Biggie Smalls film pulled from release schedule

The film about rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur staring Johnny Depp has been pulled from the film release schedule a month before it was expected to hit theaters. “City of Lies,” which is based on the book “Labyrinth” and was scheduled for a Sept. 7 debut, is about the investigation into the deaths of the two rappers, who were slain in the 1990s. Variety reports that the film is now undated. Depp, who played a retired LAPD detective in the film, has had problems recently, such as being sued by a location manager who said the actor punched him and accusations of domestic violence from ex-wife Amber Heard. Another movie he’s in, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” a “Harry Potter” spin-off, is still expected to be released in November.

Just do the makeup and the outfit.
