Slash wishes Michigan band didn't sound so much like Led Zeppelin

In a rare interview, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash talked to Rolling Stone about the reunion and his solo career. He was asked about Michigan band Greta Van Fleet, which is opening for GNR on tour. "It makes me really happy to see it," he said. "I wish they didn't sound so much like Led Zeppelin." Still, he praised the Frankenmuth rock group for their showmanship and for playing instruments. "That's really healthy, and I think that's inspiring." "It definitely makes a lot of kids who are doing the same thing, that no one’s ever heard of . . . it gives them hope to be able to get somewhere."

Morgana King, ‘Godfather’ actress and jazz singer dead

Morgana King, a jazz singer and actress, died in March of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at age 87. According to the Washington Post, her death was not previously reported, and the Riverside County coroner’s office confirmed her death. She was best known for her role as Marlon Brando’s wife in “The Godfather” and “The Godfather: Part II.” 

Dunham celebrates 9-month anniversary of hysterectomy with nude photos

Nine months ago, Lena Dunham underwent a full hysterectomy after a long battle with endometriosis. To celebrate the nine month milestone, the actress and director posted a series of nude photos on Instagram. “Today is National Leathercraft Day, National Relaxation Day and National Lemon Meringue Pie Day. It’s also the nine-month anniversary of my hysterectomy,” she wrote. “I’ve never celebrated the nine-month anniversary of anything and I realized last night why that number feels so funny - I won’t ever do it the way I planned to.” She added that her body is “stronger than I’ve ever given it credit for.” “Happy Giving Birth to Myself Day,” she wrote.
