Savor Detroit at Great Lakes Culinary Center: Hour Detroit’s five-night dinner series will raise funds for Give Detroit Challenge and has partnered with featured artist Tony RoKo. Dining and food news

Stoney River location to open in Troy: Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill will open a Troy location on Oct. 29 at 155 W. Big Beaver. Part of J. Alexander’s Holdings Inc., the upscale chain will hire around 100 employees to staff the 8,000-square-foot restaurant. Stoney River serves steaks, seafood and has a full-service bar.

Private dining at Lady of the House: Popular Corktown restaurant Lady of the House has opened a private dining room in the lower level of the popular space. Email events@ladyofthehousedetroit.com for details.

Punch Bowl rolls out fall drinks: Detroit’s Punch Bowl Social restaurant and bar with a bowling alley has rolled out its “seasonal sippers.” Look for a Van Damme made with Tom Foolery Applejack brandy and pear syrup or the malted maple boozy milkshake.
