Pop star Lady Gaga has been sporting an expensive pink diamond ring for a few months now, but it wasn't until this week that she actually acknowledged a fiancé. She thanked "fiancé, Christian" during a speech Monday at Elle's 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration, CNN reports. She's talking about talent agent Christian Carino, who works for the agency that reps Gaga. People reports that they started dating in February 2017. Now about that sparkler ... Page Six reports that it may be worth up to $1 million because naturally pink diamonds are so rare.
Rapper Yella Beezy shot in Texas
Rising rapper Yella Beezy was shot at while in his car on the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Texas on Sunday. According to the Dallas Morning News, more than a dozen shots were fired and three struck Beezy, who is also known as Deandre Conway. The rapper, whose song "That's On Me" reached No. 1 on the rap/R&B charts, is alive and was hospitalized until at least Monday. No arrests have been made.
'Chicago' cast gives chat at Fisher
Select cast members from the musical "Chicago" will host a pre-show chat at the Fisher Theatre 6-6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Second Avenue lobby. The discussion is free to attend, and tickets to the show are not required. It's not know which cast members will be appearing at the chat. Those who want to attend the 8 p.m. show can buy tickets at the box office. "Chicago" runs at the Fisher through Sunday.
Former Red Wing player hosts stand-up comedy show
Darren McCarty, former right wing for the Detroit Red Wings, is bringing his "Slapstick Comedy Tour" to One Night Stan's, a new comedy club at 4761 Highland Road, Waterford. The show is Sunday at 6 p.m. and tickets are $20. Visit onenightstanscomedyclub.com.
