Big 3: Top events in Metro Detroit Saturday and Sunday

Metro Boat Show at Lake St. Clair Metropark: Besides boatloads of watercrafts, this annual show also has family-friendly activities, food trucks, live music, boating simulations and a chance to take a photo with a mermaid. 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Sat. and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun. $10, children younger than 12 and police, fire and active military personnel are admitted free.
