“Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff will appear on stage at the Royal Oak Music Theatre April 6 for what’s being described as “an intimate conversation.”

The 2018 book – the fastest-selling release in the history of its publisher Henry Holt and Company – details the behavior of President Donald Trump as observed by his staff and by Wolff, who claims he told Trump he was writing a book and had access to the White House. Trump later denied this.

“Fire and Fury” was released in early January to explosive media coverage. The publisher actually moved the release date up a few days due to high demand.

Presented by WDET, the April 6 event is billed as a “An Evening with Michael Wolff: Fire and Fury” that will be “a live, shocking and intimate conversation” with Wolff, a noted journalist and author of six other books.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the April 6 event, which is open to ages 18 and older.

Ticket are $39.50-$125 and go on sale at noon Friday at the Royal Oak Music Theatre box office at 318 W. Fourth or online at royaloakmusictheatre.com. Call (888) 929-7849 or (248) 399-2980.
