Michigan’s oldest winery, St. Julian, will open a tasting room at Oakland Mall next month.

The retail space will sell the full line of products made at the Paw Paw, Michigan-based winery and distillery, and will have a tasting bar for samples. Shoppers can order wines by the glass, too.

St. Julian sells a variety of vino made from Michigan grapes, including red, white, pink, sparkling and dessert wines. The longstanding company also makes cider, brandy, gin, vodka and nonalcoholic beverages.

Expected to open in May, the Troy tasting room will be St. Julian Winery and Distillery’s fifth location. Besides the Paw Paw facility and tasting room, there are additional tasting rooms in Dundee, Frankenmuth and Union Pier.

Oakland Mall is at 412 W. 14 Mile in Troy. A sixth St. Julian tasting room is expected to open in Rockford later this year.
