Fans of famous casual burger restaurant Wahlburgers will have more options locally after a new location opened Thursday in Royal Oak. 

Doors opened at 11 a.m. after a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new restaurant is part of Beaumont's Woodward Corners development near Woodward and 13 Mile Road.

The chain, which has 33 locations throughout North American and the United Kingdom is owned by chef Paul Wahlberg and his Hollywood brothers actor Mark Wahlberg and actor and singer Donnie Wahlberg. The brothers and the restaurant are also the subject of an A&E reality show. 

The first Wahlburgers opened in Greektown in 2016 to much fanfare, including visits from the famous brothers. A second are eatery opened last year in Taylor. The burger joint also has two new stands inside the club level at Ford Field

The Wahlberg brothers are not expected to be at the Royal Oak restaurant today.

More businesses are expected to open soon in the 13-acre Woodward Corners development, including New Order Coffee and a grocery store.
