One of the city's most beloved ramen shops will release a "Tasteful Noods" calendar for 2020, featuring nude employees of Detroit restaurant Johnny Noodle King.

Of course, all this cheeky fun is for a good cause. Proceeds from the printed calendar will benefit the Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control. The calendar features mostly staff from Johnny Noodle King — men and women — and at least one from their sister restaurant, Green Dot Stables.

Fans of nood-related nudes, or those who want to help local furry friends in need, can check out "Tasteful Noods" at the calendar release party Nov. 24 at Bagley Central, a new cocktail bar at 2545 Bagley in Detroit.

The free even starts at 5:30 p.m. Calendars can be purchased for $10 each, three for $20 or five for $30.

The party will include food from Bagley Central's neighbor Peso Bar and doughnuts from the upcoming Yellow Night. The Jefferson Chalmers business from Johnny Noodle King co-owners Christine and Jacques Driscoll will serve doughnuts and fried chicken when they open in a few months.
