Fun, design-forward Union Assembly opens Wednesday in downtown Detroit

Downtown Detroit's newest restaurant pays homage to the city's industrial, sports and music roots, all wrapped up in a good-looking package. 

Union Assembly, a two-story restaurant on the ground floor of the Little Caesars global headquarters building, is set to open Wednesday with open-air seating, cozy vintage-styled booths, two bars and a large menu featuring everything from coney dogs to New York strip, with a lot of diet-conscious (gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.) offerings in between.
