Detroit's Atwater Brewery has teamed up with another local company, End Grain Woodworking, to offer something that beer lovers and historians alike will enjoy. The brewery's new series of tap handles are made from reclaimed wood from vacant Detroit properties.

Each handle has a unique look, and is stamped with an address of where the wood was found. All of the lumber used was reclaimed using legal and ethical methods, Atwater says.
The wooden handles cost $75 and a limited amount will be available to the public starting Aug. 21 at www.atwaterbeer.com.
