A movie about a notorious Detroit drug kingpin White Boy Rick that is being filmed in Detroit and Cleveland is looking for actors.

According to casting websites, the movie is looking for several supporting actors for the film, which stars Matthew McConaughey as Rick Wershe’s father Richard Wershe Sr.

Some of the smaller roles looking to be filled include African American roller skaters, African American boys and teens, and caucasian men and women of all ages for a gun show scene. A feature role is also being cast for an 18-year-old African American male.

The casting calls stresses that film makers are looking for “real people” and that the director is putting an emphasis on the background cast. Since the film is shot in the 1980s, sideburns are encouraged but full sleeve or neck tattoos are not.
