Michael Moore is taking on President Donald Trump yet again with a new documentary, titled “Fahrenheit 11/9,” producers announced during the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.

The title is a reference to Nov. 9, the date of last year’s presidential election. It’s also a flip of the title “Fahrenheit 9/11,” the Michigan filmmaker’s Oscar-winning 2004 documentary about the 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

Moore’s “9/11” producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein will produce the new film, which Moore has been working on in secret. In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, Harvey Weinstein promised the new film will have “one of the most innovative distribution plans ever,” and said Moore’s voice is needed “now more than ever.”

“Michael’s appetite for the truth is crucial,” Weinstein said in a statement. “We are ecstatic to be a part of this revolution.”

Last year, Moore released “TrumpLand,” a film about the Presidential election that was released just days before Election Day.

“Fahrenheit 9/11” is the highest-grossing documentary film of all time, earning more than $222 million worldwide.
