Minneapolis rockers the Replacements have lined up a May 3 date at the Fillmore Detroit, the band’s reps announced Monday.

The concert marks the band’s first Detroit concert since playing the same venue, then known as Clubland, on July 2, 1991. Two days later, the band played Chicago for what would be its final concert until its unexpected 2013 reunion.

Following that 2013 reunion show, the band played a series of festival dates over the last year and a half. The band’s upcoming trek marks its first proper tour in 24 years.

The 16-date “Back By Unpopular Demand” tour kicks off April 9 in Seattle and wraps June 2 in London.

Ticket information, including prices and on-sale date, is expected soon.
