Zac Brown Band is stepping up to stadiums this summer. The Southern rockers will play Comerica Park Sept. 12, promoters announced Thursday, marking the group’s biggest Detroit show to date.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. March 20 at Tickets.com, the Comerica Park box office and by phone at 866-66-TIGER. Pre-sales begin Tuesday.

The concert is a part of the group’s summer outing, which kicks off May 1 in Nashville and wraps Sept. 19 in Del Mar, Calif. The tour is in support of the group’s latest album, “Jekyl + Hyde,” which is due out April 28.

Zac Brown Band’s last local show was in September at DTE Energy Music Theatre. That show followed a two-night stand at Joe Louis Arena on Dec. 31, 2013 and Jan. 1, 2014.
