Jimmy Buffett headed to Detroit’s Riverfront
Jimmy Buffett is returning to downtown Detroit this year, but after three consecutive trips to Comerica Park, he’s switching things up and heading to Detroit’s Riverfront.
Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band will play Detroit’s West Riverfront Park on June 25, promoters announced Thursday. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. April 24; prices are TBA.
The West Riverfront Park, located West of Joe Louis Arena, is hosting several concerts this summer, including the Downtown Hoedown June 5-6 and the Mo Pop Festival July 25-26. Buffett’s concert immediately becomes the biggest show for the site, which was inaugurated last year with Kem’s Mack and Third benefit concert.
Buffett’s show is a part of his 2015 “Workin’ n’ Playin’” tour.
