Eminem is getting back in the soundtrack business.

The soundtrack to the upcoming film “Southpaw” — which stars an impressively ripped Jake Gyllenhaal as boxer Billy “The Great” Hope — will be released in July on Eminem’s Shady Records, reps for Shady announced Friday.

A new song by Eminem, “Phenomenal,” appears in the film’s trailer, and Em handled executive producer duties on the soundtrack himself.

Early on in the film’s development, Em was attached to star in the film in the Gyllenhaal role, which would have marked his first starring turn since “8 Mile.”

A snippet of “Phenomenal,” which was produced by DJ Khalil (whose previous Eminem credits include “Won’t Back Down” and “Survival”), can be heard in a new Beats by Dre commercial that features Golden State Warriors forward (and former Michigan State star) Draymond Green.

“Southpaw,” which also stars Rachel McAdams, Forest Whitaker and 50 Cent, is due out July 24.
