Paul McCartney’s first Detroit concert in four years is being teased via social media.

Monday afternoon, Joe Louis Arena tweeted out a lyric from McCartney’s Wings hit “Maybe I’m Amazed” along with a picture of McCartney’s guitar with a Red Wings logo on it, along with the words, “major announcement tomorrow!” and the hashtag #OUTTHERE.

Out There is the name of McCartney’s current tour, which on Monday announced a Columbus, Ohio date on Oct. 13 and a Toronto date on Oct. 17.

Tickets for the Columbus date, at Nationwide Arena, go on sale Aug. 31 and range from $29.50-$253. Tickets for the Toronto show, at the Air Canade Centre, go on sale Friday.

McCartney’s last Detroit concert was a July 2011 date at Comerica Park.

The ex-Beatle, who turned 73 in June, has been performing sporadic concerts all year, and headlined one of the night’s at this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
