Black Sabbath is saying goodbye.

The pioneering heavy metal band is embarking on what is being billed as its final tour, dubbed “The End.” The tour hits the Palace of Auburn Hills Feb. 19; tickets go on sale Sept. 12, with pre-sales beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Prices are TBA.

The tour kicks off Jan. 20 in Omaha and wraps its North American leg Feb. 25 in New York before heading to Australia and New Zealand in April. More dates will be announced next month, according to a press release.

The Palace show will be the band’s first Metro Detroit concert since headlining DTE Energy Music Theatre in August. 2013.
