Big Sean is set to bring “Paradise” to Joe Louis Arena tonight.

Doors for the Detroit rapper’s homecoming concert open at 6:30 p.m. and the show is set to kick off at 7:30 with openers Kiaree Hines and Bryson Tiller. Big Sean is due to take the stage at 8:45; times are subject to change.

The charity concert will raise funds for the rapper’s Sean Anderson Foundation, which benefits Detroit youth. Upper level tickets, $39.50 and $29.50, are still available via Ticketmaster.

The rapper’s concerts at the Palace of Auburn Hills in December 2012 and DTE Energy Music Theatre in 2013 featured a host of special guests, including Kanye West, Drake and Nicki Minaj. It is not yet known how Sean will top those outings, but he told The Detroit News this week he doesn’t want the show to be overshadowed by VIP cameos.

“I just want to focus on putting on the best show I can for the city,” Sean said. “I’m tired of, well, not necessarily leaning on other people, but I want to show the city the power that one man can bring.”

Earlier this year, Big Sean’s third studio album, “Dark Sky Paradise,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart, becoming his first chart-topper.
