GRiZ’ holiday homecoming just got a lot bigger.

The Southfield-raised electronic music artist will perform a sold-out show at the Masonic Temple on Dec. 19, and will celebrate what he has dubbed the “12 Days of GRiZmas” leading up to the show.

Beginning Dec. 8, GRiZ — born Grant Kwiecinski — will participate in a series of fundraisers, proceeds from which will benefit Little Kids Rock, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching music in schools.

The events include a Dec. 10 coat drive, a Dec. 11 pizza party, a Dec. 13 yoga session, a Dec. 15 warehouse party, a Dec. 16 beer tasting at Roak Brewery in Royal Oak, a Dec. 18 pre-party at Populux and a special “surprize gift,” particulars of which are TBA. Details can be found at http://www.mynameisgriz.com/grizmas.

The GRiZmas concert is Griz’ second annual holiday blowout, following last year’s inaugural GRiZmas concert.

GRiZ was one of the main stage performers at this year’s Movement festival, playing the fest’s penultimate slot before Snoop Dogg finished the weekend.
