Florence and the Machine is headed to Metro Detroit for its biggest area concert to date.

The group, led by powerhouse singer Florence Welch, will perform at DTE Energy Music Theatre June 11, according to tour dates released Monday. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday; prices are TBA. Pre-sales for American Express card holders go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to a tour release.

Icelandic folk-rockers Of Monsters and Men will open the concert, which is part of Florence’s 15-date spring tour. The trek kicks off May 13 in Miami and wraps June 14 in New York.

The band is touring behind 2015’s “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart.

Florence and the Machine’s last area concert was a July 2012 date at Detroit’s Fox Theatre.
