Eric Church, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum will headline this year’s Faster Horses festival, promoters announced Wednesday.

Church and Lady Antebellum will make their first appearances at the three-day country music fest, July 15-17 at Brooklyn’s Michigan International Speedway. Aldean is making a return appearance after headlining the inaugural Faster Horses in 2013.

Other artists performing at this year’s event include Sam Hunt, LoCash, Jon Pardi, A Thousand Horses, David Nail, Gary Allan, Travis Tritt, Big and Rich, Granger Smith and Joe Nichols. The acts on the festival’s Next From Nashville stage will be announced at a later date.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 12.

“I feel like we’ve built exactly what we talked about building in year one,” says Faster Horses’ Brian O’Connell, president of Live Nation’s country music division. “We went out there and we planted a flag in the ground in Michigan in the third weekend of July. We wanted to make it something that people circled on their calendar and said, ‘I’m going to Faster Horses.’ ”

O’Connell said the festival has grown from “this thing with a funny name in a place that you’re not used to going” to something that fans have taken ownership of and celebrate as one of the year’s biggest parties.

Last year’s event, which was headlined by Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and Florida Georgia Line, drew 40,000 fans to MIS.
