After several years of staging concerts in downtown Detroit, Jimmy Buffett will bring Margaritaville back to Oakland County this summer when he plays DTE Energy Music Theatre on June 18.

The show will be Buffett’s 29th concert at the former Pine Knob in the last 34 years, and his first at the venue since 2011. Huey Lewis and the News will open the show.

Tickets go on sale at 12 p.m. Feb. 26 through, all Ticketmaster locations and by phone at (800) 745-3000. Prices have not been announced.

In 2012, Buffett moved his annual summertime show to Comerica Park, where he returned in 2013 and 2014. Last summer, he played a concert in West Riverfront Park, along the Detroit River just west of Joe Louis Arena.

The concert is part of Buffett’s summer run, dubbed the “I Don’t Know” tour.
