Upcoming T.I. concert at Joe Louis Arena moved to November
A day after shots rang out at a T.I. concert in New York City, the rapper’s upcoming performance at Joe Louis Arena — dubbed “The Big Show at the Joe” and featuring a half-dozen other rappers — has been pushed back to Nov. 2, venue officials announced Thursday.
Tickets for the originally scheduled June 19 concert will be honored at the makeup date. Refunds can be obtained at the point of purchase.
“The Big Show at the Joe,” co-sponsored by Detroit radio stations WJLB-FM (97.9) and WKQI-FM (95.5), also features Fetty Wap, Young Thug, Migos, Ty Dolla $ign, O.T. Genasis, Young Greatness, Lil George and Fool Boy Marley.
One person was killed and three others were wounded when shots were fired Wednesday night at T.I.’s concert at Irving Plaza in New York.
