Name: Olivia Millerschin

Sound: Performing a mix of indie rock, folk and soul, this singer and songwriter is influenced by classic and contemporary troubadours such as Regina Spektor, Carole King and Ella Fitzgerald.

Working hard: Millerschin, at 21 years old, has already released two albums of original material, was a quarter-finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and has toured the country in support of such well-known acts as Teddy Geiger, Howie Day and Ryan Cabrera.

Next up: She performs twice at Saturday’s Fair Lane Folk Fest at the Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn. Headlined by Justin Townes Earle, the daylong event offers craft beer, food trucks and a lineup of folk and roots musicians.
