Name: The Bruised Reed

Lineup: The band is husband and wife duo Kirsten Wheeler on vocals and Josh Wheeler on “everything else.” When they perform live they’re helped out by Tim Stout on bass, John Fitchett on guitar and Bobby Poole on drums.

Next: The Bruised Reed will be one of 20-plus bands from Detroit, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and beyond performing at the annual Mittenfest in Ypsilanti. Taking place at Bona Sera Restaurant, 200 W.
