Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix organizers announced Friday that country duo Montgomery Gentry will perform at the race on June 3.

Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, who made their debut in 1999 with the single “Hillbilly Shoes,” will entertain on the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment stage on Belle Isle Park just after the Verizon IndyCar Series race.

Anyone with a ticket to the Grand Prix on June 3 will be able to attend the concert at no addition cost. Single day tickets start at $40 and can be purchased at detroitgp.com.

“Montgomery Gentry will bring a different kind of sound and energy to the Grand Prix and we’re very excited to have them perform for our fans and celebrate a fun Saturday night on June 3 at Belle Isle,” said Grand Prix Chairman Bud Denker in a press release.

Details of additional entertainment, including a headliner for June 4, will be announced in the next few days, according to the release.
