Paul Simon announces final tour, including DTE stop
The legendary artist will perform at the Clarkston amphitheatre on June 10, tickets go on sale Friday
Before Paul Simon says farewell to live performances he’s mounting one last tour, and Metro Detroit is one of his stops.
Simon will play DTE Energy Music Theatre on June 10, promoters announced Monday. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Last week, Simon announced his final concert, dubbed Homeward Bound: The Farewell Performance, scheduled for July 15 in London’s Hyde Park.
Along with Slayer, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Elton John, Simon is one of several legendary performers mounting a final tour in 2018.
Simon’s last local performance was in June 2016 at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre.
