Drake adds second Little Caesars Arena concert
The Toronto rapper will play LCA on Aug. 15, in addition to his already announced Aug. 14 show. Tickets go on sale Friday
Detroit is getting a double dose of Drake this summer.
The Toronto rapper has added a second concert at Little Caesars Arena, promoters announced on Monday. In addition to his already announced Aug. 14 show, he will also play the downtown arena on Aug. 15.
Tickets to the newly announced concert go on sale at noon Friday via Ticketmaster channels. American Express holders will get a first crack at tickets beginning at noon Tuesday.
The Detroit show is one of 11 newly announced shows on Drake's summer outing, on which he'll be joined by Atlanta rap trio Migos. The tour launches July 26 in Salt Lake City.
Drake's latest album, "Scorpion," is due out this month. His current single "Nice for What" is currently No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, where it has spent six non-consecutive weeks in the lead position. "Nice for What" replaced Drake's own "God's Plan" at No. 1, which spent 11 weeks at No. 1.
