The singer will play the downtown arena on Feb. 12; tickets go on sale Sept. 14

Cher has a pre-Valentine's Day treat in store for Detroit.

The iconic singer will hit Little Caesars Arena on Feb. 12 as part of her Here We Go Again tour, promoters announced Friday.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 12 p.m. Sept. 14.  Citi card holders will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The show will be Cher's first local tour stop since April 2014, when she visited Joe Louis Arena on her Dressed to Kill tour. She was due back that November at the Palace of Auburn Hills, but health problems forced her to cancel the tour's second leg.

Cher's Farewell Tour, as her '02-'05 trek was dubbed, swung through Michigan a whopping eight times, including four Metro Detroit stops.

The 2019 tour kicks off January 17 in Ft. Meyers, Florida and wraps May 18 in St. Paul. Cher is due at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on May 8; tickets for that show also go on sale at noon Sept. 14.

The 72-year-old is touring in support of her new album of ABBA covers, "Dancing Queen," which is due out Sept. 28. The album was inspired by the singer's role in July's hit movie musical "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again."
