Name: Laith Al-Saadi

Sound: This bluesman is known for having a powerful voice to match his wailing guitar. 

The Voice: After performing around town consistently and often for many years, Al-Saadi finally wound up in everyone's living rooms when he appeared on the 10th season of "The Voice" in 2016. Under the wing of coach Adam Levine, he came in fourth place. 

Up Next: Al-Saadi is celebrating his birthday Saturday with a concert and jam session with his local friends at the Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty in Ann Arbor. John Sinclair and Larry McCray are scheduled to join Al-Saadi on stage, along with percussionist Randall Moore, Al Hill on keyboards and the Motor City Horns. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $25 and up and are on sale now via Ticketmaster or at the venue.
