Mariah Carey lines up Fox Theatre show

Mariah Carey will bring the world tour behind her new album "Caution" to Detroit's Fox Theatre on March 8, venue officials announced Monday. 

Tickets for Carey's concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Citi card holders and members of Honey B. Fly, Carey's official fan community, can gain access to pre-sale tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday. 

The show will mark Carey's first local visit since a January 2010 concert at the Fox. She was due to perform with Lionel Richie at the Palace of Auburn Hills in April 2017, but that tour date was canceled. A Nov. 2017 Christmas-themed concert at Caesars Windsor was also axed. 

"Caution," Carey's 15th full length studio album, is due out Nov. 15.
